Icarus reference sheet

Icarus

NOTE: I tried to take shadows and lights out to make the actual markings clear. Still, she is actually really “shiny” character, okey?

Breed: Obviously fantasy style fairy horse, but thinking Appaloosa and Arabian cross takes you also really close.

Design/ Markings:

Coat colour: Silver grey, but not like ‘liquid silver’, but as natural as can bee with blueish metallic shine. Both side appaloosa like white markings over the bum.

Wings: Three sections, similar material as a dragonfly have

Legs:
-Right front very long white sock
- Left front white sock about to knee + silk ribbon above the knee
- Back legs: Small white socks + Spiral like marking goes round the leg above knee – SIMILAR IN BOTH LEGS
- All legs have dots about where the sock end and black hooves

Head: White ‘shooting star’ on forehead and smaller ‘diamond’ on nose. Ears are fairly big and have two scratches in the outer side –SIMILAR IN BOTH EARS. Behind ears is two smaller ‘wings’, similar as the once on the back but have bit harder ‘frame’.

Mane: Long and metallic grey, bit darker than the coat, shines very white

Tail: Striped white and same darker grey as the mane, shines also as white.

Note!
1. Ribbon does NOT have a bow on it, just a big knot.
2. Length of the ribbon and size of the wings depend on the artist, some times really big and some times really tiny
3. Eyes changes the colour(not by mood!) fairy randomly, but if this gives to tha artist ‘a headache’ I would advace go to blue.
4.Everything is pretty symmetrical beside the front legs design AND the little SPIRAL MARK that is ONLY on RIGHT SHOULDER
5. About those dots in the legs. White dots on grey and other way round. Idea is that every ‘colour peak’ has three dots. This is NOT for driving the artist crazy. ;D But to give some idea…
