Nordanner Bid #428

Ann continued walking down the corridor, which by now were totally empty. She was the last customer leaving the stables. She was just about to step outside, when she noticed that something weird was going on in one of the boxes near the doorway.

She stepped back a few step to see what was going on in this particular one with a grey mare halfly tacked.
The mare was twisting and turning its neck to have one of the bridle clip into its mouth. Ann just stood there amused about all this for a minute. It was quite same as seeing person trying to lick on her or his own elbow. Finally, Ann came back to her sense. She glanced around the corridor, no staff around. She was not especially worried about the mares manners, these horses were all suppose to be reasonable to handle. She leapt in to the box and attaches the clip back to its place. If looks could kill she would have died on that spot. The mare sniffed at her, she definitely wasn’t needing any help. “Next time when I need you help I shall ask it”, the whole body of the mare was messaging. Ann giggled “Sorry…” and rubbed the mares shoulder on her palm. The mare was easily forgiving and was soon playing on her jumpers hood.

This mare was a joker. Kind of like an overgrown Shetland pony – she definitely had that spark on the corner of her eyes. “You are little trouble maker, aren’t you?”, Ann asked softly. The mare stopped playing on her hood and gave an angelic look: “Me…?” Ann smiled and said: “Yes, you.”

Quick learner, but repeats only when feeling like that has selfconcience and after big trick usually work very hard and quietly for weeks...
